Respect is fundamental to how we present ourselves and interact with others, both within and beyond the school. We embrace diversity and value different perspectives while being united in our common purpose. Any idea or activity that promotes social division, or undermines mutual respect, tolerance  or individual liberty, is firmly rejected. We all share one overriding identity: CHAMPs. Our four pillars of Respect are:

  • Empathy: Understanding and sharing the feelings of others to foster mutual respect.
  • Courtesy: Demonstrating politeness and good manners in all interactions.
  • Appreciation: Valuing the contributions and qualities of others.
  • Fairness: Treating everyone equally and justly without favoritism or prejudice.


Accountability means taking initiative, owning our actions, and acting with integrity. Fairness is key, and we uphold rules of law such as individuals being innocent until proven otherwise, fostering a just and supportive environment. We instill in our students a strong sense of personal responsibility, empowering them to take charge of their journeys through what they can control: their own thoughts and actions (the freedom to do so being their common privilege as a British citizen). Our four pillars of Accountability are:

  • Responsibility: Owning your actions and their consequences, whether positive or negative.
  • Transparency: Being open and honest about decisions and processes.
  • Reliability: Consistently meeting commitments and being dependable.
  • Integrity: Upholding strong moral principles and ethical standards.


Resourcefulness is the ability to think creatively and adapt to overcome challenges. We encourage our students to be proactive problem-solvers who can navigate both charted and uncharted terrain with confidence and innovation. By fostering self-sufficiency, we instil confidence in our students and strengthen their mental resilience. In every situation, our students first ask what they can do for themselves and others, not what others can do for them. This is how leaders and the truly empowered think. Our four pillars of Resourcefulness are:

  • Problem-Solving: Analyzing situations thoroughly to overcome hurdles efficiently.
  • Creativity: Finding innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Initiative: Proactively taking action without needing prompting.
